분사

<Point 01> 분사의 자리와 역할

♣분사는 형용사 역핛을 하므로 형용사처럼 명사 앞, 뒤 or 보어

-It was a surprising news.

-The woman using the photocopier is my secretary.

-The books written by Harry are interesting.

-Ms. Henderson looks satisfied.

-He kept me waiting for an hour.

♣분사자리에 올 수 없는 것

동사나 명사는 올 수 없다

<Point 02> 현재분사와 과거분사

♣현재분사: 능동(~하게 하는) 또는 진행(~하고 있는) 의 의미

-Mr. Kim gave a very encouraging speech to the students.

(김씨는 학생들에게 매우 고무적인 연설을 했다.)

-I was lying on my bed watching TV.

-We heard someone (calling / called) your name.

♣과거분사: 과거분사 뒤에는 목적어가 올 수 없다. 뒤에 목적어가 있다면 무조걲 현재분사!!!!!

-I bought the car at a reduced price.

-If your stolen wallet is given back to you, please let me know.

-Jason had his motorcycle fixed.

[해석연습]

-The waiter put a burning candle on the table.

-The plants in the burned area will recover naturally.

<Point 03> 분사구문

♣분사구문 만드는 방법:

-접속사를 지운다. (정확핚 의미를 살리려면 남겨도 된다)

-주어가 서로 동일하면 부사절의 주어를 지운다.

-능동이면 ~ing, 수동이면 being + p.p

♣감정 유발 동사의 분사

사람이 외부 자극에 의해 ~한(된)	감정 자극 요인이 사람을 ~하게 하는
