Diary 14

Today is Korean;s memorial day so every one do not go to their work or schools to rethink of soldiers who died for our country. It is a memorable day because my grandfather also participated in the army when fighting with Japan. Luckily he did not die but he might have been dead if he was unlucky. I used to think there is a war in our country when I had to take stressful tests. I know now that it is a horrible thinking and a war should never occur. I was too young so I thought of only my benefits not considering hurts and danger I could get from tat war, even though I do  not have to take the test. I was too silly at that time. Now, I love tests more than wars of course even though they are stressful.

Diary 13

It's June and the final exam for the first semester of second grade is coming. I cannot believe that the first semester is over soon and I have to apply forthe exchang student in one month. I am little nervous because I could get rejected but I am also looking forward to it having a hope to be selected. I am going to apply for an exchange student in England. The second and the third wiil be college in America. Each school select only one student so it wiil be very competitive. I hope I can be selected but who knows? :)
If I am rejected, I will not be frustrated because I have so many plans and my final goal is to be a great teacher not being an exchange student. So I will kee try hard to be an excellent teacher. ^^

Diary 12

It is already the end of May and I feel the time went so fast. I think I spent the time valuable so I do not regret the past. I made lots of new friends and I adjusted to the new major as I planned in my study plan.
Also I got the good TOEFL score. So I am proud of myself that I am doing a great job just I mentioned in my 10 year study plan. I think I can proceed rest of the plans well as I am doing it right now. Passion and endeavor was the mot important in successive results. I learned that no one can get over a person with a great passion and who try their best to succeed. So I am going to try my best to achieve my rest of  plans successfully.

Diary 11

Today is the Budah's day so I did not go to school. It was glad that I was so tired with the festival. I stayed the night and enjoyed with my friends that I was exhausted. So I stayed at home and made my body to be healthy again. However, there was an important group project so I had to make presentations and prepare my speech. In fact, I couldn't relax comfotably. But! It was much better than going to school and have lectures :)

Diary 10

The festival started today! I love enjoying festival with my collegues. This year, our school's concept of the festival is 'club party'. So I am looking forward to the last day of the festival because a DJ is coming to our school for the party. At school, there were various booths which many students sell drinks, waffles, ice-cream and barbeque. They also run various games which are similar to gambling. I enjoyed all the games so much that I spent a lot of money but I was so excited. I am not going miss all the fun and I will enjoy the festival season until the last day!

Diary 9

Today is 'Coming-of-age Day'. Finally I became the official adult who is treated as an adult and have to be responsible at my behaviours. My family congratulated me with roses and a nice dinner. I felt quite wierd that I feel I am old but also i was so excited that the boundaries and restrictions are gone when I had in high school years. My mother and father told me that I have to be responsible at my behaviors and decisions so I have to be careful. I will definitely be a responsible adult and I am sure that I can be an respectful adult.

Diary 8

Today I had a homework by Professor Cha, drawing a map of England. During doing the homework I was interested than other students because I want to go to England as an exchange student. From an early age, I had a dream of going to the Europe or go to Europe as my honeymoon because Europe is so beautiful. So drawing a map of England was heart beating homework that I ever had. Then I made a promise to myself, I will go to Europe no matter what happens in my life even I have to go by myself. I cannot wait the day going to the Europe and actually standing on the historical places.

Diary 7

The debate competition for the rookies is finally over! I had a wonderful experiences and I also learned a lot from all the debates. I took about 8 debates with all the different societies. The other students were so good at debating so i learned a lot from them while debating together. Also adjudicators gave us wonderful feedbacks that are very useful in improving our English skills. They gave us comments how to develop well and also gave us compliments that we did great. I gained braveness in debating and I felt the great taste of debating through this competition. Even though my grades were not great it was valuable time and I am proud of my self that I participated and did my best.

Diary 6

Today I went to Seo-gang University to participate in the debate competition. I am a member of Chung-Ang debate association so I got the chance to practice my debating skills. Today was the first day of the competition and I won the Ewha University but lost to the Seoul university students. It was exciting and so much fun because it was the first time for me to debate with other school students. I only practiced with my club members so it was new and very good experiences for me. I cannot wait for the tomorrow's debates!!

Diary 5

Finally the mid-term exam is over and I had a TOEFL test today. Taking TOEFL exam is one of my this year's plan. Eventhough I was so exhausted with the midterm exam, I took it with my best effort to have good grades whoch will be used for applying for the exchange student. In today's TOEFL test, listening and writing was not difficult for me but reading was bit confusing for me. However, many students who took the test today wrote that reading was easy on the Internet. Well, maybe I an strong at listening and writing and weak at reading. Then I should improve my reading skills and focus on reading.

Diary 4

Soon, it is the first exam in English Education!! I am so nervous and I am worried about my grades. I heard that English education major students students study very hard that they all try to get good grades. So I am also trying my best which is this year's my goal. I planned to study very hard and try to get scholarships. In this year, I wil try my best to get the scholarship and adjust to new environments and new exams. I believe that I can do well adjust to the new environments well.

Diary 3

Today is an election day so I did not go to school. It was the first time in my life that I get the right to vote. I felt weird that I am already old enough to vote. It was meaningful that I can use my right to vote from this year and I felt responsible about my right. This right has to be used in a right way to be a responsible adult.
It is same for using English. We have to use English responsibly because English is one of cultures and we have to repect that culture.

Diary 2

In Chung-Ang university I am participating in a special club. It is called CUDS which stands for Chung-Ang University Debate Association. In this club we debate about various issues in English. I joined this club to improve my English skills and actually this club made me to speak more fluently and logically about my opinions.
At first, I hated to go to the club because there were so many students who are like native speakers. But then I learned a lot from them to be just like them. So I began to enjot debating in English and also learned a lot of words and knowledge about social issues. I want to recommend this club to my major students who want improve speaking skills.

My first blog

This is my first diary at my first blog. I never had my own blog because I liked to visit others' blogs not having on my own. However, it is very interesting to have my own blog and run it in the way that I like. Through this blog, my goal it to improve my English skills which will help me to accomplish my goal which is to be a great English teacher. I believe that collecting various beneficial information about English in this blog will improve my English skills in every part such as reading, speaking, listening nad writing.
