01 인칭대명사

 

**소유대명사 (~의 것)-주어, 목적어, 보어 자리에 온다.명사가 절대 없다

02 지시대명사

that/ those

앞에 나온 명사를 대싞하여 받을 때 사용하며, 그 뒤에 반드시 수식어구가 따라온다.

-The winter of this year is colder than that of last year.

-The company regulations of Samson Company are stricter than those of MG Company.

Those who:~하는 사람들 (=those people who) These fields may appeal to those who enjoy creative work. →이 분야들은 창의적인 일을 즐기는 사람들에게 호감을 줄 것이다.

 

 

03 부정대명사

1 some / any (몇몇, 약간)

Some: 긍정문

-Some of the employees will be promoted.

-Did anyone call while I was on the line?

Any: 부정문, 의문문, 조건문

*긍정문에 쓰이는 any*

Any (어떤 ~도), anyone(누구라도), anything(어떤 것이라도)

*의문문에 쓰이는 some*

박명수: Would you like something to drink? (권유나 요청)

*each, every → 단수취급

2 one/ another/ other/ the other

[둘만 있을 때]

하나는 one, 다른 하나는 the other

-Jim bought two shirts. One is black; the other is white.

[셋 이상일 때]

(A) One(어떤 하나), another(다른 하나), the other(나머지 다른 하나)

One brand will always compete with another.

(B) One (어떤 하나), others (다른 몇 개)

One (어떤 하나), the others (나머지 전부)

.-The organization has many supporters. One is in L.A., another is in New York and others are in Chicago.

-Ms. Lee met five clients. One is Korean, another is French and the others are English.

(C) The other+ 단수명사/ 복수명사 (다른 무엇)
